Range Rover Evoque this one being the 2.0L 180hp variant, hasn’t had many issues ‘surprisingly’ for the owner, until that is the warning light popped up on the dash with ‘no start in 30 miles’ Well how terrific is that! No sign’s no warnings, but no start in 30 miles, that means get home quick and call us!
Adblue problems are causing more hassle than they are worth, especially on Range Rover Evoque, this was suffering with the NOX sensor going down and the Adblue pump switching off because of it. A dumb system invented by a dumb person! Fortunately this couple did manage to get it home before the no start and we managed to squeeze them in today as we were passing, so only a day off the road! The Kess V3 we use now has a scan function to view P codes, it also has a very powerful ‘delete P codes’ function built in. The battery voltage in all Land Rover vehicles is critical and this was another problem, it started the vehicle fine! But was down to less than 12v, so a simple bit of diagnostics and everything is back up and running again with only hours off the road. Beat that dealers!
